About The Artist
After a successful career designing quilt and apron patterns, Barbara Brandeburg turned off her sewing machine and picked up a paint brush.
Barbara loves to paint landscape scenes that depict a gentler time and the quiet calm of nature - old barns, weathered houses and national park scenes are favorites. Lately, she has felt compelled to paint the Pioneer Trail, tracing the steps her ancestors took along winding rivers and wagon ruts in the road. A California native, Barbara now lives in the Salt Lake Valley where she finds daily inspiration in the mountain views, glorious canyons and stunning skies.
